Not to mention the last thing a faceless corporation (that is about to become more giant when it merges with AT&T) does not need any defending on a personal blog. I suppose you've never entered into a contract that later turned out not to be the right fit. Life changes, people lose their jobs, opportunities open up, as this opportunity to travel to Africa did for me... a good company that wants to keep its customers will adapt and be flexible to its customers needs. A greedy company that only cares about profit won't. They actually USED to have a clause that allowed you to cancel a contract when you moved out of service range/another country, which is why I contacted them to begin with. T-Mobile doesn't give a shit about you or what happens to you during your two-year contract. The seasonal suspend extends your contract so you end up paying more for a longer amount of time. If you think you might have a problem living up to your end of the contract, do not take the contract. I think T-mobile is great for allowing one to do the seasonal suspend. Pay $10 a month but save $40 or $50 while one is not using the phone. It's very good.. I plan on doing it soon for 3 months of travel. Oh..
